When and where is the CORE Kick-Off STEM Fair?
CORE Kick-Off STEM Fair will be on Thursday, October 21, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on the University of Minnesota Twin Cities Campus at Memorial Student Union at 300 Washington Ave SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455, USA.
What should our family expect at the CORE Kick-Off STEM Fair?
Students and families should expect to be immersed in STEM activities as they are informed, entertained, and engaged in interactive exhibits, demonstrations, experiments, games, prizes, and more alongside members of the university faculty and student body. Check back for our growing list of university STEM programs and organizations that will be on hand for an evening of family fun.
What is the deadline to register to attend the CORE Kick-Off STEM Fair?
The registration deadline for the CORE STEM Kick-Off Fair is Friday, October 15, 2021 at 11:55pm. The CORE Student and Family Registration Form is available using this link: https://forms.gle/ioepScA2mxe6YPFV6.
What time and where is registration on the day of the event?
Check-in for students and families will be at the entry doors to the Great Hall on the ground floor of Memorial Student Union and will start at 5:00p.m.Please be sure to check-in, even if you have RSVP'd for the event.
Is there a dress code?
There is an interactive event. Students and families should dress comfortably for walking and moving. It would be great if students showed their school pride by wearing school gear or paraphernalia.
What time will doors open to the public?
Doors will open to attendees at 5:00 p.m.
Where should my family park for the event?

I am having trouble completing the online registration form.
If you or your STEM teacher/coordinator is having trouble completing the online registration, please email Audrey Breland at [email protected] or [email protected]. Include the student’s name, grade, school, as well as the parent or guardian’s name, email address, and phone number.
I am interested in being a participant in CORE from middle school through high school.
